Aimed at professional photographers and imaging enthusiasts alike, all products will be on show for visitors to test and experience.

Meet the Expert

As a Wacom evangelist, specialising in offering practical training solutions to the creative industry and Photographers, I will also be on the stand to provide expertise and knowledge to visitors on how to get the best out of leading digital imaging software packages using a Wacom tablet. This follows on from Wacom’s ‘hints of the week’ series for photographers, which provides weekly practical tips to help users improve their workflow and take full advantage of their pen tablets when working in Adobe Photoshop CS5 or Apple Aperture 3.

Activities also taking place on the Wacom stand include:

  • Special show offers on certain Intuos4 models as well as a unique bundle offer.
  • Meet the Expert question and answer sessions

Wacom’s Range

Wacom’s products offer photographers a convenient and effortless way to optimise their digital images on the computer. From correcting exposure problems and removing unwanted objects, to improving the colour of pictures or dramatically altering the style of a photograph, digital photographic work is effortless.

The Intuos4 pen tablet range (S, M, Wireless, L and XL) delivers advanced features and unparalleled performance to photographers. With 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity and an ergonomic design, normal everyday editing tasks become more accurate and much easier. Workflow tools such as customisable ExpressKeys, a user-defined Touch Ring and a Radial Menu enable fast access to shortcuts, meaning users can access tools and preferred functions such as scrolling or zooming quickly. In addition, the Intuos4 Wireless combines the successful Intuos4 pen tablet design with Bluetooth wireless technology to give users the freedom to work in the most comfortable way for editing and retouching photographs. It is the ideal tool for working with digital content, free of any cables.

In addition to the Intuos4 range, Wacom will also exhibit the Cintiq 21UX and the Cintiq 12WX. These interactive pen displays provide the perfect pen-paper alternative enabling users to draw, scribble, animate or navigate directly on the display with the cordless, pressure sensitive pen. The larger Cintiq 21UX has a screen size of 21.3 inches (54.1 cm), while the portable Cintiq 12WX’s weight of just 2000g makes it a highly flexible and ergonomic product, ideal for use on the move. With an accurate ICC profile for colour management, the Cintiq 21UX’s screen with its wide viewing angle provides a true colour environment covering the sRGB colour space.
